COVID 19 Safety Guidelines / Updated June 18th, 2021
By signing up you agree to notify the Shul in the event of any change in your health status over the next 2 weeks and agree that in the unfortunate event that you contract Covid-19
(G-d forbid), you accept full liability with the full understanding that while the Shul is doing all it can to establish the safest protocols for maintaining services pursuant to federal, state, and local health official guidance, the Shul cannot guarantee freedom from infection, a risk that continues to exist to everyone, as well as to those attending services at Shul or any similar gathering.
Shul on the Beach - COVID 19 Safety Guidelines for Indoor Prayer.
Based on the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control, Los Angeles County, and our medical advisors, these are the guidelines for COVID safety at shul:
OutsideVaccinated Individuals: No Restrictions
If you are vaccinated, you have no restrictions other than those listed below about keeping common areas clear. Mask-wearing is voluntary, not mandatory. If you are speaking to another vaccinated person, you do not need to distance yourself. If you are speaking to an unvaccinated individual, we recommend maintaining a distance of six feet apart.
Unvaccinated Individuals: Mask OR Distance
If you have chosen not to receive the vaccine, you have taken upon yourself the risk of contracting COVID. This is your right. Please understand that by exercising this right, you may risk placing others in harm’s way. When outside, either:
Wear a mask or
Maintain a distance of six feet from other unvaccinated individuals unless they are in your household.
These guidelines expect you to be on the “honor system.” No one will check your vaccine status. We hope you voluntarily abide by these guidelines out of respect for your fellow shul-members.
